The Wakizashi - Raven Forge Yasuke's Wakizashi joins the Raven Forge Legends Collection as an officially licensed replica of the short sword carried by Yasuke in Assassin's Creed Shadows, a Ubisoft Original. Its design draws directly on concept art and 3D models the studio accessed ahead of the game's launch, ensuring an accurate translation of the in-game weapon into a physical piece.
Beyond matching the game's visuals, the sword was built using traditional Japanese swordsmithing know-how, resulting in a well-balanced, carefully finished wakizashi rather than a purely decorative prop. Historically, the wakizashi was carried alongside the katana as a samurai's secondary blade - a mark of rank, duty and skill.
The 50 cm blade is forged from tempered 3CR13 steel in a full tang construction, keeping the total length at 67 cm and weight at 776 g. The tsuka (handle) and saya (scabbard) are wrapped in faux rayskin, finished with custom menuki ornaments, while the tsuba (round handguard) takes its design from the crest of the Oda clan.
